What is "Podcasting"?
A “podcast” is a form of audio broadcasting that uses the internet. Podcast takes its name from a combination of “Ipod” and broadcasting.
What are examples of a podcast?
It could be published in the form of a sound bite/recording, movie, song, powerpoint with voice over, etc. Any type of published broadcast created that could be viewed/heard on-line or on a computer would fit the category of a podcast.
So, where can I see projects made in English class?
Since many of the podcasts we make during class are too large to post on the wikispace for viewing, they are stored on a separate class website. This site will be password protected by the end of March to provide privacy for the student project and pictures put on this portion of our site. This username and password will be given out during class, so please write it down or speak to Ms. McQuillan
